History

About the Chapel In The Cove´╗┐

The Chapel In The Cove was chartered in the 1970's as an inter-denominational church to reach out to the people of Spring Branch and Canyon Lake.

The Chapel celebrated the 25th anniversary of the completion of its worship chapel in 2008. Started by a few early settlers of the Cypress Cove subdivision, the church grew as it moved from its initial meeting place in the local park to the community's Civic Center. In 1982, about 20 people began building the church on property donated by the subdivision developer. The Chapel was built by its members in 1 1/2 years, was paid for as it was erected, and was completed in 1983.

Church grounds include the chapel, an educational building with classrooms, and memorial park and trail. Today, the Chapel has 15 beautiful stained glass windows dedicated to members and friends.

The congregation is friendly, warm and loving and welcomes you to its worship services. Fellowship activities include monthly luncheons on the last Sunday of each month.
